Just a quick note before I go get my shower and head out the door for lunch with Hubby...and the whole crew today as they have a Going Away Party going on... Then it' off to work for me. No trucks today, so should be a pretty easy day at work. Unless of course all the customers who's merchandise showed up on yesterdays three trucks decided to all come tonight...LOL.

Anyway, I've printed them out and laminated them to index cards to make it easy to take to the gym with me...

Not THREE...

OK, so I really enjoyed my three days off of work. First three day weekend I have had in months because we are so short staffed. It was so nice to be able to spend a day with hubby after doing the March of Dimes walk, going to the gym and working out, spending time with my blogs, working on getting my house around for spring cleaning. Doing things on my time...when and how I wanted to do it.

Then... it was back to work...

Well, I was NOT expecting to come to work and be faced with THREE appliance trucks. Two, maybe, but THREE! Dang, that just set me off to a bad mood right away. Then, to top it off, the one associate I dislike the most, ticked me off. Sometime over the weekend or yesterday while I was off, HE decided to re-arrange my filing system for the UPS paperwork and threw away last Aprils files, which MUST be kept for 1 year. That one month is not up so neither is keeping them a full year... and he threw them away! I just stood there pretty much yelling at him. I was so upset. He always tends to think that his way is the best way and most will agree, it's NOT. I will be so glad when they find a replacement for me so I can move out to the sales floor as an MCA and not have to deal with receiving as often.

Well, I decided to calm down by going to the HUB office and working on next weeks schedules... that was fun. Three of my 6 associates have requested time off...which they requested months ago and already had plane tickets to Detroit for a concert... After I finished up schedules , I headed to eat my lunch... leftovers from last night. When I came back from lunch, the first of our trucks had arrived so we started offloading it. In actuality, the three trucks were not as bad as I expected. Mostly smaller appliances this time around...very few refrigerators and heavy appliances. Though, the third truck was nothing but crated lawn tractors. For me, all I had to do was stick the block under the crate so they could get the jack under them and move them off...so easy easy task for me.

We actually had all three trucks offloaded BEFORE the third truck was even scheduled to arrive. So it was a good day. Afterward, I headed back to the processing area and finished up processing yesterdays truck. Barb had most of it done, was just down to the last rack and a half. Took me about half and hour or less to complete it.

I got home to dinner being served. It's so nice coming home after a long day of work and not having to cook dinner too. I ate a bit more than I probably should have... hubby doesn't think about corn and rice both being high in carbs... I considered skipping the corn, and eating just the rice and fresh veggies...but ended up eating a bit of corn too. I kept my portions small, but I'm sure it was still too many carbs. Tomorrow's weigh in will tell...

Today's Body Blessing:

B: 2 Waffles topped with Peaches and sugar free Blueberry syrup
L: 1/2 cup rice with about a cup of beef/veggie stir fry
D: Chicken Breast (boneless skinless), 1/4-1/2 cup Corn, 1/4-1/2 chicken rice, fresh veggies
Snacks: 100 calorie pack whole almonds, peanut butter/cheese crackers, Fat Free Tapioca pudding

Beverages: 3-1/2 bottles water, 2 cups Detox Tea, 1 bottle Flavored Water.
Today's Workout:
Offloading appliance trucks...
Some stretches, squats, and lunges while getting around for work this morning... it's a great way to get them in while you are drying your hair, putting on make-up, or brushing teeth. Just do side to side lunges, squats, torso twists etc...

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's off to the Gym I go...

Woo Hoo! I changed up my plan for my workout today and headed to the gym instead since Holly and I did not make it yesterday afternoon.

I got up this morning, fixed myself a really yummy breakfast. I've seen where people make omelets using asparagus and cheese as there filling. It just did not sound all that appetizing to me, but low and behold, I decided to be brave and try it with the leftover asparagus I had from a couple nights ago and it was REALLY good!

I've spent most of my morning, blessing my home. I want to start on my spring cleaning, so basically, today was de-cluttering, putting things away, wiping down my kitchen counters, washed my floor rugs (after washing the material for Holly to make my PJs and Purse). Will soon go out and work some more. I want to gather all of Holly's mess, put it into a basket and take it to her room for her to take care of properly. She's got more shoes (flip flops) then any person I know! And, they all tend to be at our front door.

I fixed a yummy, low call lunch for me and hubby. Watched a bit of TV with him while he was home then started in cleaning up after lunch before I decided to head to the gym instead of doing a workout video. I didn't work out as long as I initially planned but was feeling pretty good about my workout anyway. My legs were/are still a bit on the jello side from the workout a couple days ago. :)

Today's Body Blessing:

B: Omelet with 9 asparagus stalks, egg whites, 2% mozzarella Cheese and a banana on the side
L: 2 cups of my Homemade Veggies Soup, Deli-Creations Fiesta Chicken Sandwich
D: Beef/Veggie stir fry over rice, green olives, 3 midget gherkin pickles
Snack: 100 calorie pack of whole Almonds
Today's Workout:

38 minutes Incumbent bike, various resistance settings, 7.34 miles, 225 calories burned
2 sets of 25 Crunches on Ball
3 sets of 10 modified push ups
2 sets of 20 bicycle crunches
2 sets of 15 triceps kickbacks with 8 lb weights
2 sets of 15 overhead tricep extensions with 8 lbs weight
2 sets of 15 bicep curls with 8 lb weights
2 sets of 15 hammer curls with 8 lbs weights
2 sets of 15 side bends with 8 lb weights
after workout stretching...

Day 5's update...

Well, Holly and I made it to town this morning after breakfast and spent about an hour walking around JoAnn Fabric. She has decided that she wants to make mommy a new pair of PJ bottoms and a new purse so we spent a good amount of time looking for fabric I would like. Silly her, kept picking out baby patterned fleece for me... turtles, Snoopy, one even had baby toys & bottles on it! LOL... Finally found a yellow floral print we both liked, so that is what she will make for me. My purse is going to be a pink and brown floral pattern with a chocolate color lining. I think she is pretty anxious to get started on them, but I need to finish up my laundry before we can wash the fabric. Gotta have the clean work clothes. It will be completed for her though so she can start on them ASAP.

While walking around JoAnn's, Holly's stomach started making some awful grumbling noises. It was so funny! She's like, Mom, I gotta eat. It hadn't really been all that long since we had eaten breakfast, but I was actually starting to feel a bit hungry myself. She chose Subway for lunch, which I was kinda grateful for as I knew I could manage my calorie intake there.

On the way home, Holly wanted to stop at Starbucks to get her favorite drink. Some Double Chocolate Chip something or rather. Forget the actual name, just know it is very good and very high calorie. She had a gift card she wanted to use, so she went in and got what she wanted and I stayed in the car as to not be tempted by all the drinks and goodies. :)

Once I was at home, I started in on my grocery list and sorting through coupons, then hubby and I left for the commissary to buy groceries. Almost $200.00 later, our house is filled with healthy foods for my breakfast, lunches and our dinners...

By the time we got the groceries put away, it was time to start dinner. Holly had been wanting BLTs, which I had been thinking about too, so that is what we had. I had way too much bacon I'm sure, but the "bacon substitute" stuff I bought the other day... made of veggies and protein, well, that stuff was AWFUL so I gave what was cooked up to the dog, and threw the rest out...

Needless to say, I didn't end up with enough time to make it to the gym, but my hopes are that I can do a few strength training exercises tonight while I watch TV. Even if it's only my ab crunches on my fitness ball and push ups. It's better than nothing at all.

Today's Body Blessing:

B: 1 slice veggie bacon (YUCK), 1 slice of real bacon, 2 scrambled eggs, 1 biscuit with about 1/4 - 1/2 cup sausage gravy.
L: 6" Turkey Breast & Ham on Wheat Sub, loaded with lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, pickles, onions, tomatoes, black olives, NO Cheese or Dressing...
D: 2 BLT Sandwiches on light bread, Tator Tots.
Snack: cheese

Water: All day long...so far, three bottles I do believe.

Day 5...an early post.

Thought I would post a bit early today and share my plans for the day...

This Mornings weigh in... 138.6 lbs. So, even with my bad day of calories yesterday, I was down a pound! No gaining for me. Cardio workouts really helped that. I'm so glad that I chose to go to the gym instead of beat myself up over the 1/2 pizza, fried foods, etc... I'm determined today to make this a consistant habit.

My daughter asked last night and again this morning if I would take her in to town to JoAnne Fabrics so she could buy some fabric to make some stuff here at home. She's taking a Fashion Design Class at school and is doing an AWESOME job with sewing. I can't believe how well for it being her first real sewing/design class out of a few weeks of sewing in Home Ec during her 7th grade year. She has learned to use a surger, insert zippers, all the stuff I have no clue how to do and I've taken a couple of sewing classes in highschool as well as when I was in 4-H. He PJ bottoms look store bought they are made so well...

So, as soon as the stores in town open (State law says nothing but restraunts and gas stations may open before noon in ND), I will take her into town so let her pick out some fabric and maybe a pattern or two so she can practice sewing at home too. She wants to make Mommy a pair of PJ bottoms too. And I think she is wanting to do things for her bedroom, pillows, pillow cases, etc.

After returning home from town, I will get around and head to the gym for some more cardio and today I want to also incorporate the strength machine's too. Holly has said she would go up and work out with me also, so that's an added bonus. More time spent with my daughter.

Hubby and I will also do our weekly grocery shopping today as I am off tomorrow but the commissary is always closed on Monday. Need to get my list made up here shortly, so we do not do a bunch of impulse buying, which we tend to do when we do not have a list to go by.

I worked out a schedule for my workouts the other night based on my work schedule this week. This is what I am hoping to accomplish...

Sunday: Gym-- treadmill and/or bike along with some Strength training
Monday: Leslie Sansone Walk at Home, 3 mile weight loss walk. (up early and do before work)
Tuesday: The Sugar Solution Workout (one of my freebies from Prevention. Not yet tried)
Wednesday: Gym-- treadmill at least 30 minutes, and strength training before having lunch with hubby and heading to work)
Thursday: 10 Minute Solution Pilates (this has 5 programs for a full body workout)
Friday: Prevention 3-2-1 workout ( curcuit training... approx. 50 minutes long)
Saturday: Free day

That's my plans for today and this week so far. I will probably update this evening to let everyone know How well I did for today...

Hope you are having a great day.

Day 4...

Well, it was a GREAT day of working out... but not so good on calories...

I was really surprised when I rolled over this morning about 6:30 and hubby was getting out of bed, heading to the bathroom for his shower. When he came back and laid down on the bed, I said to him, "why you up so early". His response, "I've been awake since 4:30". So, needless to say I had to pick on him "Well, you must be getting old. Only old people get up so early". To which his response was "Well, then you must be getting old too..."

While laying there, he asked me if I would like to eat breakfast in town since I was going to be doing the March Of Dimes Walk this morning. I jumped at the chance since we don't get to spend much time out together anymore. So, we headed down to Denny's. I kept in mind that my favorite Sandwich, Moon Over My Hammy, is like 750 calories so looked for something that might be a bit better. Settled on a Veggie Cheese Omelet. Not sure how many calories it really was, but figured at least it did not have the bacon and sausage which is on the omelet I usually get. And I only ate half the toast and hashbrowns.

After breakfast, Drew dropped me off at the middle school where the March for Babies was taking place. I was one of the first walkers there, so regiested, turned in my donations, and waited for one of the guys from work to show up that I was going to walk with. While waiting for him, another of the guys from work came in so we walked down to the cafeteria where everyone was gathering and chatted for a while. I've never really talked to him other than in passing, so it was nice to get to know him on a bit more personal level. About half hour later, Del & another associate's daughter came in for the walk. We then all gathered in the gym for the speaches then proceeded to do the walk. They say it's 3 miles. But I know it can't be that long as there is usually so many people there, the pace is rather casual. The walk still lasted 50 minutes so it was at least 1.5-2 miles of walking...

By the time my walk was done and over with, Drew needed to eat lunch as he is diabetic, so needs to eat on a pretty regular schedule. He decided we should try one of the local Pizza Joints in town as we've not yet tried it. It was sooooo good! Much better than their "fast food" location at the mall. I ate more than I should have...but at least started it out with a salad...

We then headed to the Optometrist office to pick up Drew's new sunglasses he ordered this morning while I was walking before heading back to base. We stopped at the Commissary and picked up stuff for breakfast in the morning along with somethinig for dinner tonight.

Came home and checked all you gals blogs out, then headed upstairs to ask my daughter if she would like to go to the gym with me. Of course she said yes, as she love to go up there. I need to keep that in mind when I think I do not have anyone to work out with. She enjoys going up with me even though we do not work out at the same station the entire time. She prefers the bike or elliptical, while I prefer the treadmill.

I also picked up the new Prevention Magazine and the New Fitness Magazine so will spent time this evening reading those. Wonder what "freebie" Prevention will be offering this month...LOL. got my DVDs last month, and a free weight loss buddy thing. It suppose to measure body fat, count steps, calories burned, etc... but I don't find it very accurate so do not use it.

Today's Body "Blessing"
B: Veggie Cheese Omelet, 1/2 order hash browns, 1 slice Wheat Toast w/butter
